Our other councillors come from all walks of life, including education, business and policing. We value all the contributions that our councillors make to school life.
Our councillors represent diverse backgrounds, bringing expertise from education, business, and policing to our school community. We deeply value the contributions each councillor makes to enriching school life. They convene a minimum of six times a year and actively participate in Scholars Councillor training and the Scholars Councillor Conference.
Our trust offers a comprehensive training program, including access to national college training, annual independent safeguarding training, and regular updates provided by the Head of Governance. The Scheme of Delegation clearly outlines the responsibilities of Local Governing Body (LGB) members and Trustees, which can be accessed below. This document details how the LGB supports the Trustees in managing the trust effectively.
Additionally, the Chairs and Vice-Chairs of all schools meet with the Chair of the trust and the CEO on a termly basis for Scholars Connect. LGB's are also kept informed with regular updates from the CEO on the trust's ongoing initiatives and activities.
